Can the Diako Easyfit meals be prepared in the microwave?
Yes, they can. Remove the cooking bag or perforate it several times. After 4-5 minutes in the microwave (600 W) you will have a delicious warm meal. However, we recommend that you warm up the cooking bag in gently boiling water for 15-20 minutes.
How do you prepare the High Protein Drink?
Mix it with 250 ml of fully skimmed milk or water and then shake it or blend it with a blender, this makes it creamier.
My deep-freeze is rather small. Can I keep the Diako Easyfit meals in the fridge?
You can keep the weekly menus in the fridge for the first 3 days.
Can one meal for the day be swapped with another?
Of course, you can spread out the meals during the day as you wish and decide for yourself when to enjoy a snack. It is, however, recommended to consume all meals and snacks that are meant for a particular day on that day. The idea, therefore, is not to use the different meals from the weekly programme to make your own daily programme.
A programme lasts for six days. What do I eat on the seventh day?
On the seventh day, you are free to put your own meal together. If you wish to continue your programme on the seventh day, you simply start with the first day of the next weekly programme.
Have you been invited out for a meal? What now?
No problem; each weekly programme covers six days. You can fill in the seventh day as you wish. It is also possible for you to simply have the first and the second breakfasts on the morning of day that you are going out. In the afternoon, you can just enjoy lunch, and the snack can be eaten whenever you feel like it. You can then keep the dinner for the seventh day of the weekly programme, if you wish.
I am still hungry. Am I allowed to eat anything more?
Have you eaten all meals on one of the programme days and are you still hungry? Then you can safely eat some fruit, a bowl of yogurt or some salad without a bad conscience
What can I drink?
At least 1.5 to 2 litres of fluids per day. You can choose between water, coffee, tea and a vitamin drink.
Are three days really necessary to detoxify?
All our nutritional programmes start with detoxifying the body. Excessive waste is flushed from the body during these days and the body metabolism is also activated. During detoxification, you will be taking in approximately 700 to 800 calories per day. It would therefore be better during these days not to do any heavy work or not to train intensively.
Although the first three days require a lot of discipline, it will become easier to follow the weekly programmes after these three days and it will lead to better results resulting from them.
What else can I do?
Your success will be apparent sooner if you introduce a little more physical exercise into your daily programme. Take the stairs more often, for example, or leave the car at home for a change. A brisk walk during lunch break or after work is good for your body and spirit. Find a sport that gives you pleasure, or participate in a fitness course.
Dairy products and a short expiry date?
Not with us! This problem has been solved by using high-quality, protein rich products. This has prolonged the expiry date of our dairy products. Only the full skimmed milk is added by you, and that is always fresh. No milk at home? In that case, you can use water instead of fully skimmed milk.
