Rebecca (Popstars)
My introduction to the diet came with mixed feelings, because I feared that it would be just another shake diet. Before starting, I had several conversations with the people at Diako Easyfit, and as a result, I started warming up to the idea. Despite the statement I made on Popstars because of my weight problem, I did not want to let this opportunity pass.
After a very busy week in Amsterdam, we went to collect the diets for the first 3 weeks. At the time, I felt slightly unsettled and in particular, questions started arising like “Will I be able to persevere?” and “Won’t it be too difficult?”.
The first three days were quite difficult, because I am someone who enjoys good food and now had to start eating a lot less. Consequently, during the first few days I was in a bad mood and constantly preoccupied with food. Turning off that switch in your mind is not as easy as you think.
The food itself is quite simply very good, but the portions are smaller and the meals contain less meat than I was used to. After the first week, I was expecting to have a day off from the diet, but that was not the case. That day I had a difficult time again, especially because I was looking forward to having a nice evening with Chinese fondue. With the support of the Diako Easyfit people and my boyfriend, I managed to find that switch again.
By the way, what I really love about this diet is the support one gets from the Diako Easyfit people – I can phone them at any time of the day with questions and for support when things get difficult. I have to get used to some of the food that I must now eat and not everything is tuned to my taste, but I am presently on the second day of the second week and will keep confidently keep up the diet.
Love,
